First Thing,

after breakfast,

 start painting,

whilst it took some, or I should say a lot of effort from Diana to clean the varnished woodwork, it cleaned up very well,

the untreated wood, however was a different story,

it was badly stained by the pigeons,

despite using a scrapper the stains were impossible to remove,

so paint over them it was then,

 great fun!

Diana had been busy using the new mop with soap and water on the floor,

there is a huge space uphere, notice the pipework, lots of it!

Diana is already calling it my 'Man Cave',

Robbie caller round to look at what pipework he can remove, most it appears can go with one exception that will require further investigation when he returns next week, we are now both getting use to the ladder, Robbie commented it is the most sturdy of all of the loft ladders he has had to use, a great testament to the quality of the ladder supplied by The Loft Storage Room Company,

after cleaning up, it was time for our evening meal, a spicy chicken dish for Diana,

 and for myself,

'Cheers!', just a couple for early this evening as I will be driving tomorrow,

and for myself two legs of duck which Diana had crisped nicely, we rounded off the meal with a few chocolates and then listened to music until Have I Got a Bit More News for You, which as usual was great fun, by now it was 10.00 in the evening, so just time for one from the Poirot box, we are only making one post today, as soon as I finish this a quick bite to eat for breakfast, and then we will be off to Ashford, so with the end of Poirot we were off bed.
