and I was off,
through the snow,
to the bank, after a very long wait there I was waiting for the bus opposite Deen's, in the summer the queue outside of the bicycle shop had to be seen to be believed, now the cold weather is here all of those countless bicycles that were purchased are now gathering dust and rust in so many garages and homes, I wonder how many will never be used again this coming summer?
it looks like the snow has finished and the thaw has begun,
in the evening a sherry and a read,
I had picked up a selection of Indian starters,
for our main course Diana had the other sea bream,
for myself a chicken korma curry,
for dessert a salted caramel and Belgium chocolate
tart, 'Cheers!', we listened to music for the first part of the evening,
then Diana wanted to watch Zulu, what a fabulous movie, it is just a shame that films like this will never ever be made again in these oh so PC times, we followed that with one from Midsomer Murder and rounded the evening off with One Foot in the Grave, after which we were off to bed.
