it only seemed a week ago I was making a similar post!
a quick read and sherry before we both sat down,
for our starter,
of lobster bisque soup, which we have not eaten since we left Thailand, and delicious it was too,
for our main course, roast beef, with gravy for Diana,
sans for myself,
'Cheers!',
for dessert we had a nicely decorated apple pie,
with custard,
lots of custard,
after our lunch Steve and Kai called by, with some treats, I am not sure what they were called, but they were just so nice,
as were the fresh cream filled sugar dusted cakes, many thanks to Steve and Kai, we chatted the afternoon away, after saying our farewells it was feet up,
for The Meg, great special effects, unlike some other shark films I could mention, we both really enjoyed The Meg,
which we followed with Self/less, a bit of a tricky one for us, it seemed so long, the acting and script competent enough, but we kept stopping the film to see how long was left, it seemed like a 4 hour epic but it ran for just under 2 hours,
we rounded off the evening with a comedy favourite of ours, A Million Ways to Die in the West, such great fun on so many levels, with the end of that we were off to bed.
