Last Week I Was Not Sure Whether To Post This,

when I received it last Friday, but over the weekend I decided that I would,

I might be adding 2 + 2 to make 5, but I think I have found out why some companies are consistently at the top of the top 10 reviews, regular readers will know that the shop changed from one telephone provider to another in January this year, we gave the new suppliers all of the details, the lines we needed them to take over, bank details so that they could start work, the first line was moved, from the moment we left the old company for 3 or 4 weeks we have had constant problems with our BT hub not working, unlike our previous supply where we had no problems, after one visit by a engineer and the in a few weeks another visit by 2 more engineers, who whilst they were there called another, all is now thankfully well, I hate to think how many customers the shop lost as for days at times the shop could not take any card payments, when all of this was going on I did all of the call waiting, so Graham was not hanging on the telephone in the shop, now the line is up and running I was asked to complete a survey from BT our new provider, below is what I sent, (I did not mention on our blog the letters for payment), this is a copy of what I sent, but I have obscured the old provider:

what did I expect? well something like, "we are sorry our services were not up to our usual standards, please accept our sincere apologies" or something similar, what I received was this:

I did not not expect that! I take from the message anyone that posts a negative survey for BT will be banned for life for giving any more, now that is the way to stay top of the top 10 survey lists! BT (British Telecom) holds the highest market share of fixed broadband in the UK with a total of 33.6 percent of all fixed broadband subscribers in 2021, as it happens since 2007, BT has managed to increase its market share by nearly seven percent, turnover in 2020, in millions 22,824 yes £22,824,000,000! a year! it is a giant, note to self, next time lie when making a survey and your opinion will be continually asked for!

Dear Stanley and Diana
BT and many other companies demonstrate daily how they have FAILED their customers. Problem is their are few alternative companies to switch to, given governments have allowed consolidation of key industries to the point of monopolies. The small businesses and consumers suffer as prices rise and services offered are less. This is just a sign that the country’s federal government HAS FULL BLOWN CORRUPTION. The large companies sponsor their favorite politicians and are insured of favorable laws protect their ability to rape their customers. After a time, the companies management becomes so arrogant they then start controlling customer feedback. This insures a great report card for all to see and supports the political group that consolidation is a good thing for the country and citizens.
Meanwhile all is FAILING!!!!
Today in England and USA it is the large companies working with politicians to exploit and extract as much money as possible without regard to damage of country or citizens. So it is easy to see why most citizens hate their government and politicians in charge. It is “them” against the common citizens. All in the name of dishonesty and greed.
So, bottom line, we can no longer trust our governments or large companies to do the right thing.
They are the folks destroying the country.

Dear John and Alley, I truly think we lived in the 'good times' where if something was wrong you could speak to a person, immediately! people cared and politicians listened, as you so correctly say it is all about greed and worse, corruption, it was so out in the open in Thailand, but here it is not talked about because supposedly it does not happen! despite massive opposition the mayor of London is having a personal war against motorists, not his own gas guzzlers of course! but it is becoming increasingly impossible for the average motorists to buy and charge a all electric car at home, so use public transport, if only it worked, over the years of visiting Duncan doing the same journey every week I can testify how abysmal the service sometimes is, never mind the strikes, bring back 'the good 'ole days' if only, best regards, Stan and Diana.
