For Many Years I Lugged Around A Large Format Camera,

photography was a hobby of mine, now as most of our friends know I have a small compact for taking pictures for the blog, but I still enjoy looking at others photographs, like theses two, both taken from the Landscape Photographer of the Year awards, above is the winner, a picture taken of Corfe Castle, Dorset, by Antony Spencer,
and well, English breakfast, steam train - it got my vote! it is of Cardiff train station, Wales, the image won Taliesin Coombes the Young Landscape Photographer of the Year award, it is nice to know that some youngsters still have a life aside from the Internet,

The Take a View - Landscape Photographer of the Year awards are in their fourth year and were founded by photographer Charlie Waite to celebrate photography of the UK landscape, more than 100 of the best images will be displayed in a free exhibition at the National Theatre in London from November 22, while a book featuring more than 170 entries is published on October 31.
