Sunday,

and the Robins Nest beckons,
so we joined the que for the 199 baht soup, main course and dessert menu,
so many cuts of meat to chose from,
'Cheers!' from me,
and Hi! from Diana, we nearly did not dine today as Diana said she wants to go on a diet, some of her clothes have shrunk,
surprisingly the restaurant had plenty of room today, maybe regular dinners were staying at home to watch the F1 racing,
then home when Phil then Mark called by,
we watched as we talked a kids animation DVD, Wall-E that I had just put on, basically it is a robot love story, in a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation, WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess, EVE a search robot arrives on the scene well I will leave the rest to your imagination, but a great DVD which we all enjoyed, it is on two levels for want of a better description one for kids like me and one that adults will find amusing, after they had left a old time favorite of mine, Goodbye, Mr. Chips it has been remade, but I have not gotten round to buying the remake yet, the film is about an old classics teacher looking back over his long career, remembering pupils and colleagues, and above all the idyllic courtship and marriage that transformed his life, a very bitter sweet film of those bygone days,
then glad rags on for a night on the town,
she looks great!
we were only going in to see Grieg tonight as Juu would not be in his bar,
so we had a walk along the street, more of these LED signs are in the street now, this one a bit out of focus,
but Simon's still using neon,
we had to have a look at the handbag store, only 1,000 baht,
one of the sights most have walked by and not noticed, the small shrine just before the handbag store, past Naug Nual seafood's,
then in to see Grieg at Lollipops, after having a few in there we carried on our walk to the Pattaya Beach end of the street
at the new Simon beer bar complex you can have a beer and your feet nibbled by shoals of fish! I was about to write 'while you wait!'
by now Diana's diet was under serious assault,
well it was good whilst it lasted!
then feet up for a few DVD's,
first from the Bond box, The World Is Not Enough, an oil tycoon is murdered in MI6 and Bond is sent to protect his daughter, Renard, who has a bullet lodged in his brain from a previous agent, is secretly planning the destruction of a pipeline, can Bond save Europe? well it is still there so I guess he did! next we watched Poirot, The King of Clubs, neither Diana or myself could work this one out, so after that it was off to bed.
