We Are Running Out Of Sausages,

so a trip to KPK Foods was on for today, it is just behind CarreFour on Pattaya Central, but we decided to call into the plant stalls before picking them up, so we had a quick look at what bonsai were for sale this week, this one in a pot about 9" across 400 baht, it seems that hanging baskets are the rage at the moment, as every where you looked there were many of them,
we made our way to the back of the stalls where we bought our last bonsai,
and saw this one, only 1,300 baht,
the trunk looked so old,
the back of the tree, I was so tempted,
at the side of the stalls there is another one with some bonsai,
although they looked nice, like this one growing over a discarded vase, I prefer the Juniper trees,
they even had a bonsai Buddha bamboo,
Diana was taken by this one, 350 baht, it was in a pot about 8" across to give some idea of size, but in the end she decided against it,
then to KPK Foods, we normally buy 6 or so packs of frozen sausages at a time, so far the tastiest we have found, just like the ones you would buy back in the UK,
we stopped off on the way back to buy some ice when I spotted this beauty, I guessed 1958, but was wrong, it was a 1957 Triumph, I had a chat with the owner who gave me his phone number, but I copied it incorrectly so if you are reading this please send a comment with it in, what a delight to hear it start and drive away, just like being back in my youth!
work is continuing on the place next door,
the owner is having an upstairs extension fitted, the same as we have, Arry the builder showing his son the way to do things,
then feet up for an old favorite, Forbidden Planet, a starship crew goes to investigate the silence of a planet's colony only to find two survivors and a deadly secret that one of them has, also introducing Robbie the robot, who plays himself, then went on to make a fine career,
another favorite of ours Poirot, this entitled Hallowe'en Party, a fatal case of a young girls of apple-bobbing at the party leads to an investigation after the victim tells of a murder she once witnessed, as usual we had it all wrapped up, only to find we were wrong - again!
to round the evening off, A Touch of Frost, In the Public Interest, the naked bodies of three young men are found, arranged in a triangle, in a grave at an old burial site Frost also enjoys crossing swords with James Callum, an unpleasant local business man who is going to tear down the local youth club to make way for new offices in this episode, then for us off to bed.
