We Decided On a Quiet Day Today,

most official places were closed as although it was not a public holiday, Tuesday will be, so most have made a long weekend break rather than go to work for just one day, so feet up and watch a few DVD's, having said that Mark called round for a cup of tea and a chat, but in the evening we settled down to firstly watch Inception, special effects galore, good ones at that, but this is not a movie that you just go along with, all of the time it demands your attention, basically the protagonists enter your dreams, then make you dream on their terms, if they can, a dream within a dream within a dream is the result, well worth watching,
the last of series 14, Dead End, strangely enough coulrophobia features in this episode, Diana and myself were only talking about this phobia a few days before as it appeared in another DVD we were watching, but the main part of the story is when the Heal family see the man whose lorry killed three of their members some years earlier is driving a bus, he was released with out them being informed, some are tempted to take revenge for his freedom,
another laugh or two in Black Books, firstly, The Fixer, Bernard and Manni have to deal with a gangster turned writer who plans to hold a reading of his autobiography at the book shop, however he can't read, followed by Blood, Manni and Bernard try to keep up with modern book shops, by offering coffee, then food, it does not go according to plan,
as a nightcap Tea for Three, from Only Fools and Horses, then for us off to bed.
