The Day Just Sort Of Slipped Past,

but we did have some good news,

a friend of ours had just returned form the UK and had kindly brought over with him some DVDs that we had bought in the UK, so it was off to the TukCom Center to buy some slip cases for them, but before that I had popped over to see Mark as I had a few things to drop off for him, then we ran out of milk so to the 7-11 where I saw this bike, one of the newer range of fuel injected bikes to be coming on sale now, then back home feet up for a few DVDs,

first the third part of the Terminator Quadrilogy, Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines, as usual one Terminator is sent down to hunt John Connors, another is sent to save him, with the usual mayhem resulting,

we both laughed so much at Bedazzled, Elliot Richardson, suicidal techno geek, is given seven wishes to turn his life around when he meets up with a very seductive Satan, the catch, the price is his soul, but in every wish there is a twist, the make up department must have worked over time to make Brendan Fraser look so much different in each wish but still look the same,

then in a chilling change of pace, Ravenous, set in the early pioneer days of the west, a stranger who has spent three months lost in the mountains arrives at the fort, the stranger, played superbly well by Robert Carlyle steals the show, which descends into murder and cannibalism, as the fort they are staying and the subsequent march has a viper in it's party, also worth a mention is the great atmospheric music that played in the movie, by Damon Albarn(of British band Blur)and Michael Nyman, then with that we were off to bed.
