First Thing And We Were Along To Immigration,

I had to call in for my 90 day check in,

the condos next to the Immigration offices all now completed, so in I went, but this time a notice was on display, proof of address must be produced, to ensure that the Immigration officials know where you live, (why on earth do we not do this is the UK to keep track of people), so home to pick up a utilities bill, the first I found was this months telephone bill so back I went to the office, but now things had moved on with more people arriving, 31 people in front of me, still all done in 30 minuets,

then outside for in Diana's case an ice chocolate,

and a ice coffee for myself whilst we waited for a friend to join us,

then of course to Diana's favorite breakfast/lunch restaurant, the Surf Kitchen on Jomtien Beach Road,

there is always a nicely decorated bowl of flower petals on water outside,

 spaghetti bolognese for Diana,

and a prawn cocktail for myself,

then off to TESCO's for our shopping, where I had a piece of great news, whilst looking around I notice some tins of buckling, (scroll down the The Smelly Alley Fish Company to find them), I have mentioned them on the blog before back in April 2009, at the time they were 154 baht a tin, by now the price had risen to nearly 200 baht, well here they were in TESCO's for just 134 baht a tin, so two to go, I am looking forward to breakfast tomorrow already!

next home, as it was still early feet up and catch a few, well a lot of DVD's, starting first with Treasure Quest, the hunt for The Merchant Royal, so watchable, but it a little disconcerting to find that even though the treasure hunters were in International waters they were arrested by one countries navy who impounded their ship, (the case is now in court, the country will lose), then buzzed two times by another country, by plane and helicopter, it appears that the plane from that Nations air force was lost as it had to ask the ship for its position before it left, as one on board commented, 'never buy a GPS that is made in ******!',

Diana did not watch this one, Sink the Bismarck! as Churchill was alleged to have said, the film chronicles the breakout of the Bismarck during the early days of World War Two, seen both from the point of view of the many naval vessels on both sides dated of course but still one of the better produced war movies of the time,

then a descent into the minds of killers, who just happen to be the very people that should be helping to keep us alive, doctors and nurses,

the first two episodes of Monster Quest, promised big but delivered little, still quiet good if you have a vivid imagination, not that people imagined some thing, just that it was not what they imagined,

then a real laugh as we watched Dudley Do-Right, great family slap stick fun,

one episode of Sharpe, Sharpe's Waterloo, Sharpe is assigned to the Prince of Orange's staff, and is rejoined with Sgt. Harper (retired) and riflemen Hagman and Harris at the famous battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo, just a shame that the Prince of Orange is so incompetent and angers Sharpe by getting three groups of his own men killed needlessly, then for us off to bed.
