First Thing And Steve Was Off On His Run,

or I should say coming back,

due to the huge numbers of stray dogs and not wishing to be bitten it is best to run at the jogging track on the mountain, so a quick bike ride and he is there,

then off to Boxing Day lunch,

a baht bus took us to the restaurant,

we had chosen Cherry's on Third Road, it is opposite the now pulled down Ex-Cite disco,

but when we arrived at 02.00 in the afternoon we were told it was closed and not due to open till 03.00, so we had one hour to kill, so a quick walk along to the Boxing Roo bar for a few drinks,

we also had a game of pool to pass the time,

this is the sign which like a fool I belived when I booked the table, it should read Open daily 15.00!

now on to the meal, complimentary starters,

Steve, Nick and Maureen chose the Monday special, which started with rock lobster and prawns,

Kai had Thai food as she had to leave early, for myself a seafood vol au vent,

 'Cheers!',

 everyone enjoyed the lobster,

then a break for a mint sorbet, followed by fresh fruit or a banana split, then home to 388,

Steve and Kai decided to hit the town whilst Nick, Maureen and myself settled down for a game of Monopoly, it turn into a marathon game with Maureen amassing a number of hotels which bankrupted both Nick and myself, many thanks to Steve and Kai for picking up the tab for a delicious meal and with that we were all off to bed.
