We Were All Up Bright And Early,

after last nights merriment,

Steve starting to straight away to see how things were at work,

Nick and Maureen bode their farewells as the were off to pick up Ta-Taa from the kennels,

after they had left we made our way out for breakfast, stopping at the fish and cheep shop on the way,

as we were there a new aquarium was being made,

many of the fish are kept in these concrete sewer pipes which are used as pools,

we had decided on Tara Court for breakfast,

a full English one for 150 baht,

next stop Lukdod, for a look around, Steve also wanted to buy some glasses,

 the dragons looked quiet nice,

mission completed successfully with a few more purchases besides,

next stop Soi Yodsak for a beer or two,

a nice shrine out side one of the bars,

then to the Welcome Inn in Soi 3,

all of the shopping certainly developed a thirst so next on to a bar on Pranamak Hill, a picture of the offering outside the bar,

and the soi leading to it,

the bar had a nice outside seating area,

leading through to a court yard,

with a bridge and a nice fish pool,

it was stocked with Koi carp amongst others,

we had already made the decision to call in and see Keith,

one of his hobbies is collecting and flying model helicopters,

so far he has five in his collection,

for our evening meal we decided on returning to Soi Yodsak,

and make our way to the Queen Victoria,

which was decked out just like a London pub,

shepperd's pie for Steve, chicken and ham pie for myself,

after our meal we made our way along the Soi to Beach Road and decided to walk to Walking Street as there were many stalls selling goods on the beach side boardwalk,

usually there are a few beach party's taking place on the beach, but not tonight,

 just lots of stalls,

on my travels I have often seen mobile bars, normally made from a Volkswagen camper,

but this is the first motorbike and sidecar mobile bar I have seen,

our walk took us past the Royal Garden Plaza shopping Mall and its tree,

out side the sign says it all,

the sign above Walking Street signals our arrival,

where a new police force is on the streets, called the Alcohol Fun Control I am not sure if they were selling it or asking you to drink more, I will continue the post tomorrow as Steve and myself are out for breakfast.
