It Appears It Has Been A Bit Cold In The UK For Some Time,

which is a good reason to stay warm indoors,


but if you do you could be missing seeing some frost covered landscapes, even if you are not a photographer like German born Patrick Hübschmann who recently went out to take these pictures on the Rhine in Southern Germany, there may be some beautiful images to behold, the trees and grass are completely covered in a thick layer of frost and strange though it seems the picture conveys to me a real sense of stillness and calm,


silly I know but some of the pictures reminded me of when my father and I used to go fishing in the early dawn on the River Thames and Kennet way back in the early 1960s, I just wish I had taken a camera along with me.
