Most Sculptors I Guess Use Clay, Stone, Metal Or Dead Wood,

not so sculptor Keith Jennings,


 he began carving faces into living trees in 1982, like this one,

starting with a few hand tools, his work was noticed and he was commissioned to do a series of carvings on some 20 trees around St. Simons Island just off the coast of Georgia,

after a few years the tree and local vegetation grows back to hide the fresh wood of the sculpture, this looking very much like some of the trees in the film The Warlord, but for us a neat approach to using a different medium.
