We Had A Quiet Day In,

having said that after our Internet stopped working,

first thing in the morning I popped round to the 3BB office and was told an engineer would call, a couple of friends called round during the day, after they left at about 4.00 in the afternoon I checked the Internet to find it was still not working so I got ready to call back to the 3BB office, I was almost out of the door when Diana checked it again and it was back on, after our evening meal we watched a bit of satellite television, then settled down for some comedy from Al Murray: The Pub Landlord Live - A Glass of White Wine for the Lady, what a memory this guy must have in his none stop barrage of jokes,

we did not fancy a film this evening so we decided to watch Poirot, the good news was that we watched it so long ago we or perhaps I should say I had forgotten the out come of each episode, so it was a real treat to watch again, we watched the first three of season 1,

Poirot probes the disappearance of a wealthy woman's cook, and soon uncovers an elaborate plot to hide an ever darker crime.
When a woman is found shot in her flat after Bonfire Night, Poirot is enlisted to decipher whether the victim died by her own hand, or by someone else's.
Poirot tries to prevent the kidnapping of a country squire's son. While his plan fails, all is not what it seems.

then as the midnight hour came and went it was for us time for bed.
