A Quick Look At A Fairly Exclusive Watch,

produced to commemorate the China-Switzerland Free Trade Deal,

although signed last year, the bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) between China and Switzerland will see tariffs removed from 84 percent of Swiss goods imported into China and from almost all Chinese goods imported into Switzerland, while luxury tariffs on luxury watches will remain, a special “watch memorandum” added to the agreement stipulates that they will be cut by 60 percent over the next decade, these provisions came into effect on July 1st of 2014, just before the 2014 Sino-Swiss Economic Forum was to open in Beijing, so Swiss luxury watch maker Hublot thinks the time is right to celebrate free trade and their new Classic Fusion Sino-Swiss FTA Limited Edition wristwatch is their way to celebrate,

so on the watches, each piece is completed with a black rubber strap with black alligator finish with red stitching representing Chinese national colour, it is available in King Gold (extra-precious red gold containing 5% platinum) with 20 limited pieces, and titanium with 30 limited pieces, according to Hublot, the automatic analog watch features a montage of the Chinese and Swiss flags backing a secondary dial face on the front, on the back of the case, flags of the two nations also appear, in full colour, at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions along with the legend “Sino-Swiss FTA takes effect” in French and Chinese along with the date 1-7-2014, so now the question, how much? well no one seems to know, they may be given away to delegates, if such a thing is legal in trade deals, but so far no mention of price, which I guess makes them as unobtainable as Unobtainium.
