Sunday,

and we were out for lunch,

to The George restaurant and bar, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Road, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road, when you arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,

outside a new sign is being erected,

inside we passed the well stocked bar and joined Mr. Tony and Barry who had stopped by for a coffee, after chatting away Barry made a move for home,

and for us it was time for our starters, liver pate for Diana and Mr. Tony,

Cesar salad for myself,

 on to our main courses,

a selection of beef, pork and chicken plus vegetables for the Sunday 3 course 395 baht carvery,

for dessert ice cream, strawberry for Mr. Tony,

 vanilla for Diana and myself,

 on to coffees,

Mr. Tony kindly dropped us off on Beach Road,

where we walked to Dongtan Beach,

 for a quick pose,

and talking of quick, this guy was, he just ducked behind a few wires,

and came out here, it does not look very colourful in the picture, but it was the most beautifully coloured red squirrel,

arriving home it was feet up for the late afternoon and then evenings films, starting with Bad Day at Blackrock, featuring an all star cast, including Spencer Tracy, Lee Marvin, Earnest Borgnine, and a few others, the plot concerns a retired ex-servicemen trying to give a medal to a Japanese farmer at Adobe Flats, but he has just disappeared, but where?

next a highly watchable, light slapstick comedy, Dodgeball, and so funny in places, we had both watched the film before but it still made us laugh out loud, some of the actors are of course Ben Stiller and Rip Torn, but surprisingly there are a number of actors who give cameos, like Chuck Norris, David Hasselhof, William Shatner and even Lance Armstrong, great fun,

finally to round off the evening a disturbing look into the mind of a killer in The Cell, a gifted psychologists inserts herself into a nightmare that holds the key to saving a woman's life, in exploring the killer's mind you meet his and her demons, it I have to say is stunningly photographed, and for some reason I feel very underestimated, as one reviewer stated, 'it was imaginative and fascinatingly done and is unparallelled by anything ever seen in cinematic history. The Cell is an incredibly well-made film, and it deserves to be recognized', my thoughts entirely, and with that we were off to bed.
