Up Bright And Early,

and in no time here we were,

 the Brighton horse racing track,

for an antiques fair, and guess what program that we watch are here?

Bargain Hunt, and here is one of this shows teams,

 back to the antiques,

 lots to look at,

there were over 170 stalls here,

we bought a couple of items,

 and then off home,

the mist of the morning had not yet cleared,

so taking things steady we arrived home mid afternoon, the car still performing well, since setting out and returning we had a reading of 43.6 MPG, which considering the size of the car seems fair,

here is one purchase we made,

an art deco cruet set, not to everyone's but taste for a bit of fun I liked it,

as an aside if you do ever buy a cruet set, always make sure the blue glass liners are unchipped and are all there,

on to our lunch, a prawn cocktail for our starters,

and as I am not driving tomorrow, a couple of Harvey's sherry's and next a special bottle of wine,

 GIK live

 open carefully,

 unwrap,

 uncork,

 and pour,

and yes your eyes are not deceiving you, it is blue wine!

and rather nice it was too,

 'Cheers!',

it is all there, cruet, flowers and blue wine,

 delicious!

 it just looks so strange,

bluewine, but there it is and rather nice it was too,

and here is a strange thing, I always listen to music as I type the blog, halfway through typing about the blue wine, Chris Isaak started singing Forever Blue,

on to our main course, a gammon ham,

 with gravy for Diana,

 none for myself

 for dessert,

 a sherry trifle,

time to tuck in, after our meal we had a few games of Monopoly, all of which I managed to lose, in the evening a couple of antiques shows,

and we rounded the evening off with this weeks Endeavour, followed by a Poirot and with that we were off to bed.
