to the Philippines,
chatting to Mum and Sandio,
then we were on our way,
over the River Medway,
Steve and Kai had kindly called round to pick us up, as we had been invited by Steve to call down for a chat and a meal,
we parked by a apple tree in a neighbors garden,
and here we were in Steve's garden,
first things first,
open the bubbly,
and here we were, Steve, Steve and myself,
in the back garden,
as were the girls,
Steve has an immaculate garden, and grows his own herbs,
Steve was under strict instructions,
to press the shutter at just the right time,
then time for lunch,
for our starters Steve had prepared garlic prawns with salad and home grown herbs, with sliced fresh bread rolls, to soak up the sauce, delicious!
'Cheers!',
for our main course bacon wrapped around chicken,
with lots of vegetables,
we then had a long break,
and wandered around Steve's garden,
and man shed,
we took things easy under the canopy,
when the desserts arrive,
chocolate eclairs, strawberries and mango, with a meringue covered in fruit and ice cream,
what a treat!
Steve all smiles as usual,
group photo,
I forgot to mention,
lashings of fresh cream, what a fabulous meal, many, many thanks to Steve,
then the fun began,
as I was waved goodbye,
on Steve's stair lift,
next it was time to relax,
and have a look at some of Steve's flowers,
which were so nice,
Diana took these photographs,
of just a few of them,
we chatted the afternoon,
and early evening away, then it was time to say our farewells, and thank Steve for his generous hospitality,
we were soon hurtling towards London,
into the setting sun,
Steve and Kai very kindly dropped us off and after saying our goodbyes we had a nightcap watch some television and then for us we were off to bed.
