It Seemed Such A Good Idea At The Time,

lift the car,

a Chevrolet Stingray C8, on a center stand, so that the front wheels can both be removed at the same time, what the mechanics forgot, not being use to this model was the 50/50 weight distribution, take off the front wheels and the car becomes tail heavy, it was a oops! moment as you can see, after destroying the car, other guys in their service department took it upon themselves to share photos of the mayhem, without the owner’s consent, not a particularly good idea I would have thought, showing how your garage treats customers cars, but there it is, the owner responded on his Instagram page,

Yes, this is my car. I did not want this to be shared publicly until after the dealer had the opportunity to correct this crappy situation. Apparently some idiots in their service department took it upon themselves to try and get some clout from my misfortune by taking pictures and sharing them with out my consent. To the fellow C8 owners, please ensure your dealer is aware of the diagram in the second picture before you leave your car with them

I could sort of understand, if this was a garage not specializing in Corvettes, but this was the Chevrolet dealership where the car was purchased!
