Steve Called Round,

we had decided to have a look at a couple of aquatic shops,

the first was a bit of a aquatic disaster, rather than name a shame, I think it is better not to mention them at all, moving on we decided to go to the aquatic store in the Polhill Garden Center,

after queuing to get in we first had a look at some of the plants on offer,

 some having striking flowers,

 like these canna lilies,

there were also old favorites here,

 like geraniums,

and lupines, one of my grandmothers favorites,

we made our way to the outside section,

where we saw a number of ornamental grasses, which made me chuckle,

one time as we were walking in Beckenham, we passed a restaurant with some of these in its outside display, I mentioned to Diana that ornamental grasses were getting very popular, Diana misheard me and for months wondered why these were mental grasses!, well I thought it was funny,

we started making our way to the aquatic store,

 passing a few water features,

 and garden ornaments,

owl be looking at you! we arrived at the queue for the aquatic store, then another disaster, only 2 people at a time were allowed in at a time, worse still as is common with aquatic shops, everyone takes more than a little time to look around, the queue did not go down very quickly at all, so we decided to give it a miss, it was bad enough queuing to get into the garden center without having to queue up again to get into the aquatic store, Steve wanted to buy a few things,

so whilst he queued up to pay I made my way here, to the seafood stall,

for a tub of whelks, delicious! Steve kindly dropped me off home, after watching a couple of quiz shows it was time for my evening meal, shortly afterwards whilst it was still light Diana arrived home,

next feet up for our film for the evening, No Country For Old Men, a very violent but watchable movie, as one critic wrote,  'Javier Bardem's Anton Chigurh is the most disturbing character (and yet mesmerizing) to grace the screen since Anthony Hopkins introduced us to Hannibal Lecter in 'Silence of the Lambs.' we both totally agreed, we rounded off the evening with one from New Tricks, then for us we were off to bed.
