First Thing We Were Out,

into a windy day, 

it was 100 days since Steve died, and in the Thai tradition a dedication and prayers are given, 

in Kai's home in the living room space had been made for the monks when they arrive, Kai and some of her friends had been up since 03.00 AM this morning preparing food for them,

and some food for guests, 

Buddy did not know what to make of it, 

like all of us he misses Steve, 

the first of the Monks arrived, 

and set up a altar I guess you would call it,

and gave a offering to Steve, 

then seated the ceremony began, 

with Kai lighting candles,

and prayers being said, 

offerings were also given to the monks to take back to the temple as well as contributions for the upkeep of it,

the monks and all of Kai's friends that could make it, 

after the ceremony food was given to the monks,

meanwhile outside Buddy made a fuss of me, actually I think he was trying to get on the table after deciding he liked my sandwich!

the girls were still preparing food for themselves, 

for after the monks had left for all of us, 

Kai accompanies the first monk to the door, 

leading the others, 

then time for breakfast, 

for all of us, 

after a few hours we made a move for home, where it was feet up for our usual Sunday afternoon fix of Columbo, which Diana enjoys so much, 

for our evening meal we were still for full from this morning, so just a couple of hot dogs with lashings of onions, 'Cheers!',

after which, well it was Sunday so a Bond it was, From Russia with Love, it seems strange to think that when this was released in 1963 I was only 13 years old, and now here we are in 2025 and I am 75 years old! after the film we watched a Have I Got A Bit More News For You, before we were off to bed.
