out to town,
past the snail mail box,
arriving at Foxgrove Lodge, I took a few photographs,
the petunias looking nice,
as did the roses,
and rhododendrons,
the peonies near the fence were nice, but truth be told I prefer the red ones,
I continued walking past the green,
and graveyard, which needed a bit of a haircut!
looking along the side of the church, and on to the doctors surgery, in no time stiches removed, note to self, stay out of the kitchen,
along the High Street, the entrance to the newly built Travelodge now completed,
into the card shop to buy a birthday card for Duncan,
and then along to the post office to post it, I know I could take it down with me, but it is nicer I think to receive a card in the post,
opposite Ye George,
Boots the chemist, I picked up my bi-monthly prescription,
next I popped into Sainsburys to exchange our CO2 cylinder for our soda water and pick up a few other bits & pieces,
and then along to the shop to drop off some paperwork and pick up some RO water for the Venus fly traps,
arriving home all three foxes were in the garden,
two with bushy tails and one without,
but they all looked a little ragged,
this one has a strange mark across it body,
it noticed me as I clicked the shutter of the camera,
and I just had to make a short video, I then decided to enter a few photographs into the free to enter CEWE photograph competition, well you never know! these are the ones I entered:
the chances? zero, but a bit of fun neither the less,
time for a read and a sherry,
before my evening meal, which was a bit of a disaster, the top of the streak ale pie came off, the bottom just refused to leave the foil dish, what a mess, still it tasted fine, after which the usual fare of Outback Opal Hunters and a Deadliest Catch, the Midsomer Murder tonight was one we had watched recently, so a film it was,
The
Three Musketeers, I am sure we all know the story, but this one features
gallons supported by balloons taking the battle in to the skies, just as it
ended Diana arrived home, so a coffee and a chat as we watched It Ain't Half
Hot Mum, before we were off to bed.
