Again Not A lot Happening In The Papers,
so with thanks to Daryle I had to go down under,
well where I am now more less down more over a little bit to the Sydney Test match, it appears that the powers that be, that is the NSW Police, crowd control officers, crowd safety and customer service personnel are making sure that the crowd do not become to excited, no one could purchase alcohol without first removing their sunglasses to have their sobriety assessed, ''It's ridiculous,'' said Clive Allright, 40, looking around, a full beer in one hand and his sunglasses in the other, ''My mate is from the UK and he reckons there's more security here than at Glastonbury [rock festival].''
there is another SCG drinks law that has raised temperatures: children are not allowed to stand in line with their parents as they queue for beer, they stand away, often in a busy crowd, or stay behind alone their seat, ''We can't allow children in a licensed drinking area,'' said Greg Campbell of the SCG Trust, seems a shame for say a single parent who wants to watch the match and have a beer not to, I have to ask also is this the practice in all places that serve drinks in Oz? seems a shame to take her indoors out for a drink but leave the kids outside hoping they are not picked up by a stranger, but I guess Greg of the SCG trust knows best.
