I Decided To Do A Bit On The Trains Today,

so I jury rigged the two outside tracks,
it looks a mess, and is!
my soldering leaves a lot to be desired, but it works fine,
the first of the outside track trains rumbles past, first train and carriage over the third bridge,
Diana took this action picture of a Bachman 9F steam locomotive, as it went through one of the tunnels,
one or two teething problems,
now the outer track is running,
Diana helping another slight problem, I had used to much track glue in places, so a few derailments occurred, all good fun!
top the Bachman 9F, middle a standard class 6MT Clan Buchanan and bottom a Royal Scot class 4-6-0, the one I have is 46144 Honourable Artillery Company,
after spending far to much time with the trains it was time to go out, Big Jim had invited a few friends out for a meal on him, we went to Cherry's on Third Road, it is almost opposite the X-Cyte disco,
I strike the pose by the fish, note to self, must loss weight!
among the guests was Mick and Mass,
with Mr. Tony and Mick,
Mike,
and Riza,
Diana,
and of course Big Jim himself,
there should have been a few more of us but some friends could not make it,
we had a complimentary starter, followed by a trip to the fully stocked salad bar, for me I decided on the pork chop, but the menu had so many tempting dishes on it,
after finishing the main course, on a Tuesday you can chose again, so Diana and myself shared a dish of baked salmon,
then on to the deserts, for Diana a tiramisu,
banana split for me,
and another tiramisu for Mass, then followed by tea or coffee,
'Ah!'
the meal could not have been better, many thanks to Big Jim for treating all of us, outside the girls strike the pose,
there is a road that runs behind Cherry's that leads to their car park but before that is this bar,
the name of the bar says it all!
then home feet up to watch a couple of DVD's first the Time Bandits, starring lots of comedy faces, very enjoyable,
and then for something completely different, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I can never imagine Tim Curry playing any other role than Dr. Frank-N-Furter but he has had nearly 200 film and TV appearances, the film is about a party from 'the other side' then it was off to bed.
