There Does Not Seem To Be A lot Happening That We Find Interesting At The Moment,

I guess the Health & Safety along with the PC brigade are having a few days off, so it is straight on with the blog, another lazy day Mick called in and I gave him a bit of help over a programme, phoned a few friends, read a bit more, then it was time to eat, so off to the Gossip Cafe,
it is just behind the Tuk Com center, we have been there many times before,
they seem to specialise in Weiner Schnitzel, last time we were here it was 139 baht for the Farmers Schnitzel that I had, Diana borrowed this flower from the display,
this time the price had gone up to 189 baht, but for 199 baht you can order a soup, Schnitzel and desert, so we went for that, cream of mushroom soup for Diana and french onion soup for me,
then the main course, peppercorn sauce covered Schnitzel for Diana,
"Cheers!" from both of us,
and a onion and bacon covered Schnitzel for me,
and two ice creams for desert,
coconut for Diana,
and chocolate for me,
all in all for 199 baht a head, this for us is a bargain considering the choice and amount of food, one other slight 'bonus' is that if you like looking at ladies it seems a lot of European ladies stay in the hotel next door, so whilst eating there is a none stop fashion show of ladies walking by trying to find a motorcycle taxi, they all seem to want to leave the hotel to see their friends about the same time every evening, from 7,15 to just before 8.00, strange,
we were by now completely full so we settled down to watch a movie or two, but we kept hearing a strange sound from the aquariums to the right of us, the blue yabbie was trying for a breakout!
he has done it twice before, we have woken up to see him on the floor and put him back, so we now do not fill the water as high as we did before, I had thought he had jumped out, but looking at his antics I now think he climbed out over the filter at the back of the aquarium, he gets about this far and then falls back in, so tomorrow I will put a piece of glass or perspex over the rear of the tank, we keep them as pets, but in Australia they are breed in commercial quantities to eat!
we then decide to watch Lord Of War again, we had seen it before but for us it was still worth a second look, after that some fresh strawberries and a couple of episodes of New Tricks, season 1, episode 6 and season 2, episode 1, then off to bed.
