First Thing,

 Big C in Central Road,

it was once a CareFore store but is now Big C,

the aquatic store outside still seems to be successful,

as does the foot spa next door,

lots of fish to tickle your toes!

we were both hungry so a ice cream breakfast in Swensen's was next,

Diana had the special with cereal, green tea and red beans, which I suppose is a little like a breakfast,

I just settled for the fully loaded strawberry treat, which was not like a breakfast at all!

we then drove over to see Slim Jim, chatting an hour or two away, we were by now at home running short of sausages so we called into KPK for 4 kilos of jumbo Cumberland sausages, the shop is in Soi U Mai, just behind Big C in Central Road, as well as sausages they sell all sorts of foods that you might feel peckish for from the UK, like Colman's, Sarson's Heinz, etc, then home feet up to watch some television whilst Diana prepared our evening meal,

I decided to show Diana how to make some Stanley Special Onion Bom-Boms AKA SSOBB's, take a couple of squares of aluminum foil, place a couple of chopped garlics in the middle, a lump of butter and cover with half a chopped onion,

close the foil around the ingredients, twisting at the top,

and you have a pair of earrings!

no not really, this is what you end up with,

meanwhile Diana had started the bar-b-q,

we are rapidly running out of wooden skewers, but they sure do get the barbie going quickly,

 almost good to go,

so onion bom-boms on with two potatoes in foil,

they take a bit of time to cook so we gave them a head start,

soon the first of the ribs were ready,

along with garlic bread, chicken and a couple of Cumberland sausages,

I have to say it was very pleasant sitting outside along with my new best friend Mont Clair beside me, Diana's cooking was first class, also the good news was that the onions turned out a treat, there was plenty of garlic tasting butter to dip the meat into, but I mentioned to Diana next time I will do one of the onions with some salt, pepper and a touch of Colman's mustard,

after the meal we decided on some raw wine, grapes, 'Cheers!',

we watched a couple of films, first The Mummy Returns, great fun and special effects, Rick and Evelyn O'Connell along with their 8 year old son Alex, discover the Bracelet of Anubis, but someone else is after the bracelet, an all action boys own adventure,

but much more menacing AVP: Alien vs. Predator, again special effects to die for, for us a great story line as humans are farmed by predators to allow the aliens to bred, so the hunt can begin,

to round the evening off we watched the final part in Silent Witness of A Kind of Justice, like the time of the Krays a few bent coppers make the investigation harder, but the truth will out! with that we were off to bed.
