I Was Going To Finish The White Painting Today,

but it rained on and off,

so I decided to take a few pictures of the plants, the Venus fly trap, it now has 9 large traps and a few small ones, so that is doing well,

 as is the pitcher plant,

with the new pitcher now formed,

and a new one in the making,

a new leaf for this one,

and a couple of new traps for the mini monkey cup,

Diana's mini garden is doing well,

having said that the fern is doing too well as it is taking over,

 but the smaller mosses,

 are still going strong,

in the evening we were out and about,

to China Garden in Soi Lengkee with Mr. Tony,

the chef and cooks were soon busy, the cooking area is at the rear of the restaurant, great fun if some one orders a dish that has to be flamed,

after some prawn crackers our starters arrived,

spring rolls, chicken satay, spare ribs and prawns on toast with the appropriate sauces,

and a nicely carved flower as decoration,

after a break we followed with chicken and sweetcorn soup,

and naturally we had to have a Peking duck with pancakes,

buy now as you might guess we were all full, so we just ordered one main dish,

 special chow mien,

which we followed with chicken curry and rice,

 'Cheers!',

another great meal at the China Garden, if you fancy a Chinese meal this is the place to go, great food, pleasant atmosphere and decor with first class service,

then home and feet up for tonight's film, The Madness of King George, (actually King George III), a great costume drama of the true madness of King George III, it is now thought that he had porphyria, which can be acquired or inherited, porphyria is a disorder of the blood where by porphyrins (and their precursors) accumulate to toxic levels in the body leading to various disorders,

but back to the film, it is the story of King George III of England's slide into insanity, and the political and royal back stabbing which results from his incapacitation and to the inevitable question as to who is making decisions and ruling the country, a enjoyable if some what sad in places great movie, by the end of the film it was late, so we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony, then for us we were off to bed.
