Although I Am Not A Fan Of The Series,

here is some great news for Dr. Who fans around the world,

way back in the 1960s the BBC decided to do some spring cleaning and threw away approximately 100 episodes of Dr. Who, many of the episodes featuring the first two doctors William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton, many fans were thought that the episodes had been lost forever, but here is the good news,

they have been found! in of all places Africa, after months of detective work the tapes have been unearthed at the Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency, after each airing only once between 1964 and 1969 in the UK, the copies were sold to the Ethiopian Agency and the BBC then lost or wiped the originals, as the corporation still owns the copyright the shows could be digitally remastered and shown again, so I guess there will be lots of fans queueing up to buy the lost episodes after hopefully the BBC has remastered them, but what a great find.
