We Have Not Posted Many Sand Sculptures,

so here is one,

from Sandcastle Days 2013 that takes place at  South Padre Island, Texas, this year’s event will took place October 4th – 6th 2013, so a bit late for this year, the sculpture above is by Guy-Olivier Deveau who is a  professional sand, ice, snow and wood sculptor, it looks so surreal, 


what made me look at the finished work was that rather than depicting a calming, serene scene of a giant, slumbering head, the piece focuses on an open-mouthed man's head, seemingly screaming, lying on its side with one half of his face eerily distorted,

which so much reminded me of the cover art of a CD that for the most part I really enjoy listening to,
