Off For Breakfast,

the hotel we stayed at is almost opposite the terminal,

which you can walk by the side of to reach the SM mall,

on the way to the restaurant I noticed this small bike, nice, neat and tidy,

a typical row of shops on Fields Avenue,

Diana stopping at one of the telephone booths to top up her phone,

getting around town is easy, there are hundreds literally of these tricycles ready for hire,

there always seems to be a balloon seller some where around, either there are a lot of them out here or he does his round very quickly!

passing a money exchange just past the truck there is a sleeping policeman,

having a doze,

but of course looking a bit closer,

this one will never wake up,

I am not sure what model this Ford is but some one has spent a lot on it,

we decided to eat at Phillies Sports Grill on Fields Avenue a short way before Walking Street,

very spacious with a pool table and huge television, there is also upstairs seating available,

the balloon seller walks past again,

there were a few big bikes for hire in the shop almost opposite the bar,

I always look at the things people make or do, like these trolleys,

all made from bits and pieces,

I quiet liked the sun/rain shaded tricycle too,

great ingenuity,

a stretched limo, somebody famous must be in town,

a stretched jeepney, a big family must be in town,

the balloon seller is back,

there's two of them, D'Oh!

whilst waiting for Joe this immaculate jeep pulled up over the road,

inside and out looked as good as new,

the proud owner drives away,

Joe joined us for breakfast ordering some Mexican food,

Diana ordered some Filipino food,

whilst I went for a roast turkey sandwich that came with french fries,

just then a camouflaged tricycle came by,

I have mentioned these tricycles before they are everywhere,

if you want to hire one it is pretty much like the motorcycle taxis in Thailand, but with 3 wheels just a tad safer.
