We Were Expecting Phil To Be Back From The UK,

in a few days time,

but he arrived today, so off for a late breakfast/early lunch,

at the Punch & Judy where we were warmly welcomed,

beef stew for Phil whilst I went with the beef and stout pie, we returned home where we chatted the afternoon away catching up on all of the news, after we said our goodbyes and our evening meal,

we watched the fist of two movies, The Colony, in a post-apocalyptic settings survivors live underground due to a freezing of the Earth, naturally one of the remaining colony's is over run by cannibals, so it is a fight to the finish, the film was quiet creepy in places, a si-fi/horror if you will, I must admit I thought it was quite good if you are into that genre of movies,

keeping to a scary theme though with a lot more humor thrown in what better than The World's End, five pre-middle-aged male friends are drawn to Newton Haven, the site of their failed dozen-pub crawl as students in 1990, reluctant revelry and bad-tempered banter ensues, before the gang discovers that the residents of the town have changed into blue blooded aliens, great fun with lots of gore, if you like blue blood! we finished the evening off with a few more from Cheers, then for us we were off to bed.
