Meet The CCRACUNS,

or the 'Corrosion Resistant Aerial Covert Unmanned Nautical System',

as it is known, researchers at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland, have developed this rather neat drone, fully fresh and saltwater proof it can stay submerged at some depth and then be brought to life at the flick of a switch,

the US Navy is more than a little interested, these drones could be dropped or placed covertly then brought to life when a beach or water based foray was planned, not only could they scout the ground ahead they could presumably lay anti personnel mines and other ordnance, so far in tests the device has remained underwater for two months before being activated, and as stated on the web site, 'CRACUNS’ low cost makes it expendable, allowing for the use of large numbers of vehicles for high-risk scenarios', what a neat idea.
