If You Went To The 2012 Geneva Motor Show,

you may have seen this,

the popular Range Rover Evoque compact luxury CUV, but this model on show in that year was a convertible version of the three-door Evoque Coupé,

and by all accounts very popular it was too, so popular it seems that some one took notice and decided to go ahead with the project to produce it, possibly in time for the next show in March 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show,

the reason for this speculation is this picture that appeared in Autocar, a heavily disguised but still discernible Evoque cabriolet was seen being road-tested (above) in the English Midlands, as the vehicle appeared to be very close to finished, it's not unlikely it'll be ready for prime time by springtime, would I like one? I have to say I would prefer the hard top, especially if I was going to go to the lion enclosure in a safari park!
