Question, Where Can You See Europe’s Largest Construction Project,

where currently over 10,000 people are working across over 40 construction sites?

answer, under the streets of London, Crossrail is a railway system, currently the largest construction project in Europe that will run partially underground and is designed to create a faster link between the centre of London and its outlying areas, trains will start running in 2018, since construction started in 2009, 23 miles of tunnels have been burrowed under the streets of London, Crossrail Limited, is the company that is running the project and have released this picture of the nearly 500-foot-long tunnelling machine named Elizabeth,

so to bring everyone up to speed, the Crossrail route will run from Reading and Heathrow in the west, through new tunnels under central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, there will be 40 Crossrail stations including 10 new stations at Paddington, Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon, Liverpool Street, Whitechapel, Canary Wharf, Custom House, Woolwich and Abbey Wood, just a shame they missed out Beckenham and Bromley.
