Boxing Day!

how could Christmas be any better?

today we were going to have roast beef,

Nick was soon busy in the kitchen,

I am not quiet sure doing what but it seemed interesting,

but I have to confess that I decided to stay out of the way and watch television,

 'Cheers!',

the aromas from the kitchen meant the roast was cooked,

for our starters Nick had prepared potted shrimps with brown bread,

 so hats on,

 and tuck in,

 then time for crackers,

Diana as usual collected all of the gifts,

and I had a bit of a scrap,

 on my hands with Nick,

then 6 perfect Yorkshire puddings came out of the oven,

 to compliment the beef,

it looked, smelt and was delicious,

'Cheers!',

 and time to eat,

for our dessert we had some of the trifle from Christmas day,

and naturally followed the meal by a couple of games of Monopoly, first blood to Nick followed by the second game victory to Diana, we then settled down to watch a number of shows from the UK, for instance the Morecombe and Wise Christmas specials and a number of Only Fools and Horses similar shows to the ones we watched on Christmas Day, later in the evening a few sandwiches and sausage rolls and we were all off to bed.
