Mr. Tony Had Very Kindly Invited Us Out To His Place In The Country,

so along with a few friends we spent the afternoon with him and Booie,

also there was Don,

and his wife Noi, plus John and Nori,

we had a look at Mr. Tony's new car port,

also a walk around the garden,

inside there were lots of plants growing there,

it looks similar to a bird of paradise flower but it is not,

I have to say I am a bit of a Simpson's fan, this chair always reminds me of Bart,

 Don and myself,

we settled in the garden, with some ribs,

 next tomato soup,

then it was time for the girls to go foraging in the garden,

first some bananas,

head gear on, all of the ladies wanting to keep out of the sun,

 past more banana trees,

 then to the peppers,

 Booie had hundreds of plants,

 all with a bumper crop,

meanwhile we continued talking the afternoon away,

everywhere Diana looked there were peppers,

all of the girls having great fun picking them,

 Booie also grows flowers,

one of the next door neighbours dogs,

 bananas and a banana flower,

 not to mention more peppers,

there were also some runner bean like vegetables there too,

a few peppers in the bag,

 Diana was really enjoying herself,

peppers by the handful,

 lots of them,

by now we had moved indoors for some spaghetti bolognese and ribs that had been marinated, delicious, on the table Booie had put a bowl of flowers she had grown,

and look what was on one of the flowers, just off centre towards the top of the picture,

a praying mantis, good job for the fly behind him the mantis was looking at the camera!

Diana was not too sure about this lunch time guest,

he was quite active too as he explored the table,

then after our meal Diana sat by the pool,

 to cool off,

then back to the table, but a look at the flowers first,

the mantis was back on top of Bart's chair, Mr. Tony in the background,

speaking of chairs I just had to try a Lazy Boy,

then it was time for John and Nori to leave,

along with Noi who was saying her farewells to Booie,

and Don as well, soon they were off,

we stayed a little longer as Mr. Tony had kindly offered to give us a lift back to town, I played with the cat whilst we chatted,

Diana relaxed on the swing, then back home, many thanks to Mr. Tony and Booie for making the day so nice, it was a real treat,

we put on a DVD when we returned, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, in April 1805 during the Napoleonic Wars, the H.M.S. Surprise, a British frigate, is under the command of Captain Jack Aubrey. Aubrey and the Surprise's current orders are to track and capture or destroy a French privateer named Acheron, a lifelike depiction of life on board ship in those days, after that we watched Monday evenings crop of new episodes of the series we like, Kings of Restoration, Pickers, Pawn Stars, then as it was late we were off to bed.
