When Diana And Myself Visited The UK,

we went to the Nottinghill Carnival,

the costumes were splendid, but for size of the costumes the Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto is the clear winner, the carnival is an exciting three-week cultural explosion of Caribbean music, cuisine, revelry as well as visual and performing arts, the carnival itself runs from the 3rd to the 5th of August, tomorrow (Sunday) is the food festival and concert, tickets are $20, the closing ceremony is on Sunday Aug. 12, 2012 at 4:30pm at St. James Cathedral, if you are interested in going here is the map, or remember to put it in your diary for next year,

the Nottinghill Carnival is in a few weeks time in the UK, the Carnival Bands will take to the roads from around 9am on Sunday 26th August and the same time on Monday 27th of August, the Carnival parade should complete its procession by 7pm, Sunday is Children’s day and Monday is Adults day, it is a great place to take pictures, we went with Steve and Kai and had a great time, if you have not been before give it a try.
