We Have Shown Art Made 3D Before,

but making a piece from a roll of tape is a new one for us,


 but that is what artist Takahiro Iwasaki has done, not only crafting landscapes from duct tape,

 he also makes small buildings and electrical towers excruciatingly small and delicate, but they also rest on mundane objects like a bed sheet,

 or from the bristles of a toothbrush,

but not content with that he also carves Japanese cypress into models,

in this case a highly detailed scale replica of the byodo in a tenth century temple near Kyoto, which appears as if it is floating with an upside down mirror image, what talent this artist has.
