We Often Watch A Program Called Meteorite Men,

I guess we all like the idea of finding some thing valuable for free,

well it appears in Russia that some of the pieces of meteorite that landed around Chelyabinsk are starting to appear in the meteorite market, although some 1,200 people were injured thankfully no one was killed, but I wonder if Geoff and Steve of the Meteorite Men television show we like so much will be travelling there? parts of the 40 ton meteorite are being offered from one seller for around £6,500 for a small piece, while another offered 18 pieces for £11 each, even before this current meteorite hit the earth it appears there is a lot of money in finding meteorites if their web site is anything to go by, I guess collectors from around the world will be keen to get hold of a piece of this one, as an aside in October a 9in piece of the Seymchan meteorite found in Siberia in 1960 sold in New York for $43,750 (£28,200), now all we have to do is keep looking up and hope one lands near us!
