I Forgot To Mention,

that on Monday the computer technician called round,

it appears that not only had I broken my headphones the sound card had also failed, so today he called in again with a new sound card, 890 baht later all was repaired and working fine, in the afternoon we watched another episode of Ade in Britain,

after watching Morris men last week this week we were in Lancashire, firstly Diana decided to take a tip from Ade, which was to use beer in our beef stew this evening, which I have to say made a real difference to the already delicious flavor, but then we had a real treat, even better than last weeks Morris dancers,

this week the coco nutters, non other than the splendid chaps in the Britannia Coco-nut Dancers of Bacup troupe, one of whom we had seen previously making black pudding, we both just love these old British traditions that have been with us for hundreds of years, I just hope the mindless morons in the PC brigade look away,

we followed this trip in the countryside to another on the moors in The Hound of the Baskervilles, this version staring Matt Frewer, better known I guess as Max Headroom,

we or I should say I decided on a few old sci-fi movies, the first This Island EarthDr. Meacham is chosen along with others by the inhabitants of the planet Metaluna to do research that will help save their dying planet, however, an evil scheme is uncovered by the suspecting Dr. Meacham when he discovers the Metalunan's plan to take over Earth,

When Worlds Collide was next, a star is racing towards Earth, spaceships must be built for the chosen few, but will they be completed on time

The Day The Earth Caught Fire was a bit strange  the first two were in coulour made in 1955 and 1951 respectively but this film was made in black and white though it was made in 1961 with just a tint of coulour at the beginning and the end of the film, but the plot is that thew explosion of two atomic bombs has pushed the Earth nearer the sun and we are all going to die unless it can be pushed back again,

all great fun, then to round off the evening on a happy note a few from series 3 of Cheers, then for us we were off to bed.
