There Did Not Seem To Be Anything,

that we found interesting, amusing or just plain weird in the news today,

so straight on with today's post, Diana had noticed that the rear bulb had blown on the bike so off to the repair shop, but whilst there I asked if the shop had a spare side stand for the bike, the old one some 14 years old had worn and when parked the bike was now stating to lean over at an alarming angle,

much to my surprise one was in stock, I had expected to have to order it, so bulb replaced, side stand and new spring fitted and I was on my way, all for just 190 baht,

in the evening we were going to have a bar-b-q,

so off to the market to do a little shopping,

the prawns this week were super sized, but they were 300 baht a kilo,

at the rear of the market there is a bouncy castle,

then moving around to the front side of the market clothes stalls,

and shopping done who should I spy looking at new dresses? Diana of course!

all too soon it was time to lite the bar-b-q,

 which caught remarkably quickly today,

in no time the charcoal was glowing nicely,

just at that time the clouds cleared so I took a hand held picture of the moon, then quick as a flash the clouds rolled in again,

 our meal for the evening,

first some garlic buttered wholemeal bread,

the prawns were so big today that Diana could only get 3 on the skewers, normally there is room for four or five,

two for Diana two for me, 'Cheers!',

 and delicious they were too,

for our main course we were going to have pork belly that Diana had prepared with salt to make the skin crispy and a baked potato,

the meat could not have been better, full of flavor and the skin so crispy,

candle lit dinner for two, we chatted the night away, eventually going inside,

to watch a few, more episodes from Cheers, then for us it was time for bed.
