We Then Arrived At The Buddha Mountain,

it is just a short drive from Nong Nooch,

the welcoming sign,

walking towards the image I noticed these tree roots,

it seemed amazing how far out from the main trunk they reached,

and how far up the tree they reached,

Diana took a break in the shade of a tree waiting for me to catch up,

and this was what we had come to see, the Buddha image on the side of the mountain,

it was then just a short drive to Silverlake, the vineyard,

there were a few statues,

giving the place a European look,
as did the buildings,

the girls went on a shopping expedition, there are lots of grape related products on offer,

overlooked by Spiderman, though in truth I can not really see any connection to him,

the view from Silerlake looking towards the Buddha mountain,

there are a few restaurants and bars at the lake,

but we had already made out minds up where we were going to eat,

so it was back to the car,

and off to Tesco Lotus, to eat at MK Restaurant in the food court there,

if you have not eaten there before, in center of each table there is a dish of water,

you chose your food from the menu,

cook it until it is done and enjoy,

there is a huge selection, from vegetables,

to different meats, like this, pork,

smiles all round as the food is cooking,

there we are, just done to perfection, then home feet up and watch some television,

whilst looking at the pictures I decided to give this one the black and white treatment, I think it looks somehow better than it did in colour,

in the evening it was bar-b-q- time, we were joined by Noi,

I did my fire lighting duty,

and pretty soon we were all enveloped in smoke as half of it caught and the other half did not,

so I lit more paper in the ash tray to encourage it,

then it was all systems go,

the bar-b-q was for Steve and myself, the girls had been to the market and bought food for themselves,

this is just a small selection of the food they bought,

 almost ready,

 Diana cooking our food,

Steve and myself started with prawn kebabs,

followed by potatoes and pork chops,

and a salad,

after our meal it was feet up as we all wanted to watch Avatar in 3D, luckily we remember to buy some new batteries, but considering the number of 3D films we watch the batteries have lasted really well,  after the film it was late and we were all tired from walking, so saying goodbye to Noi, we were all off to bed.
