I Arrived At The Hospital At 07.45,

and was seen straight away,

blood pressure 130 over 67, 70 beats per minute, weight 77.9 kilogrammes, all sort of OK so far, blood sample was taken next then off for breakfast whilst I waited for the results of the blood test, today back Kilkenny on Soi LK Metro, the view of LK Metro from Soi Bukaow,

it is almost in the corner of the 'L' shaped Soi, a bit of a crowd at the golf restaurant next door as it appears a number of golfers are out for the day,

 the sign to look for,

the view looking towards Soi Bukaow,

 and Soi Diana,

opposite the Kilkenny the Bilibong restaurant/bar/hotel,

 plenty of seating indoors,

but I chose a seat with a view at the front of the restaurant and this was what I came for, the 135 baht English breakfast,

there is also a daily special, then breakfast over back for the results of the blood test,
blood sugar: a tad high at 140
creatinine: 0.83 mg/dl
eGFR(by CKD-EPI): 92.9
Hb AIC: 5.7
the doctor seemed quiet happy with the results so back in a couple of months for my next check up,

arriving home in the early morning sunlight I took a few more pictures of the cactus,

the bud on this one getting bigger by the day,

in a few days time it should hopefully open,

and today a few more buds have opened on the stone cactus, (Pseudolithos migiurtinus),

we had a bit of shopping to do so as we were out we decided to call into the new market at the junction of Thepprasit Road and thSukhumvit Road,

the market shrine,

some of the market is covered and is open from 11.00 in the morning till 11.00 at night,

there is also a free show, but we did not find out much about that,

we arrived just after midday, although there were some shops open,

 naturally clothes shops,

I am guessing that most open later in the day or at night,

for a bit of fun I just had to pose with one of the many statues on display,

in the centre of the market a sign post with all you need to know,

some one has spent a huge amount of time,

 trouble,

and parts of cars and bikes,

 making all manner of animals,

 like this charging rhinoceros,

or trumpeting elephant,

who has it's eye on you,

we continued our walk around making our way to the stage where I guess the free show takes place, passing on the left,

the Incredible Hulk,

drum kit in the background so I am guessing a pop and rock show with looking at the pictures outside some Thai classical dancing as well,

passing another transformer,

 I spotted this truck,

 a six wheeler,

we could not help but notice there was a second floor,

so up to the sky walk we went,

which opened up in to a huge area,

that had seating and tables beside the staircase,

going back downstairs this MG was on display,

looking at the rear right hand side the original MG MGB GT chrome letters appear to have been removed,

but on the left hand side the letter AMG have been added,

there was a for sale sign inside, but no indication of price,

there were still a number of units for rent in the inside of the complex, but as it has only been open for a few weeks they may soon be taken,

arriving home we were greeted by one of the cactus,

putting on a good show in the full afternoon sun,

two of them were in fact,

this ones flower nearly 3" across,

 as we were outside,

a couple of pictures of the tomatoes,

in a few weeks time fresh home grown tomatoes, yummy! after our evening meal we watched the TMN cable channel, Twister, Murdock Mysteries,The Chase and Midsomer Murders, also a film Winter's Tale, a sort of adult fantasy of intrigue, time travel and immortality, with that we were off to bed.
