We Have Sometimes Featured Anamorphic Art,

on our blog before,

but here are 3 slightly different examples of anamorphosis but in these cases a mirror is needed to view the finished piece of artwork, firstly an apparently random piece of art is drawn, but when a cylindrical mirror is placed in the correct position in this case an eye appears in the mirror,

in the second a picture looks like the finished work, but again when a cylindrical mirror is placed in the correct position, in this case on the moon, a face appears,

a 3D sculpture can also be use for the same effect, in this case to see a frog, I am still trying to work out how to make a piece of art like this, for instance do you start with the finished frog and then work backwards?
