I Keep Looking With Envious Eyes,

at the Samsung Galaxy Note 5,

on the Note 3 I have I have found the removable pen a boon, so I was glad to see that the new model has a pen, but I was surprised to learn that if you are in a rush you or in inexperienced hands, say a child's, the pen is put in the wrong way round the Note will accept it, but and it is a big but, if on the Note 5 the stylus gets stuck and it can, it can actually break the very mechanism that allows it to be detected by the smartphone in the first place, this can not happen on the Note 3 unless you use a huge amount of force, the defect was first reported by Android Police in the video show below,

as of yesterday Android Police contacted Samsung, the reply from Samsung in the article:-
we highly recommend our Galaxy Note5 users follow the instructions in the user guide to ensure there are no issues.
We (Android Police) have asked Samsung in follow-up whether or not the company actually plans to address the issue at a hardware level, and will update this post if and when we receive a statement.
so there you have it, if you buy a Note 5 make sure you or your kids do not put the pen back in the Note 5 the wrong way round, if you do it appears you are on your own when it comes to repairs, but remember to keep calling back to Android Police for future updates.
