We Had Another Quiet Day,

but we did notice one thing,

the bud on one of Diana's stinky cactus had opened,

and strange it looked too, but I have to say with no smell, maybe that kicks in tomorrow,

 in the afternoon,

I called over to Country Favourites to order a curry for the evening,

it is in Soi Bonkai 2, standing outside looking towards,

 the Cozy Resort,

 the takeaway is directly opposite,

 the Holiday Gardens Resort,

food ordered it will arrive at 6.00 this evening, arriving home I noticed another of the cactus had flowered,

 and nice it looked too,

on to our evening meal, a starter of masala poppadoms,

 with cucumber, carrot and mint,

followed by chicken samosa and onion bhajis,

 'Cheers!',

 then the main course,

a real feast, three chicken dishes, tikka masala, jalfrezi and vindaloo, a vegetable dish of aloo gobi and peas pulao rice,

for our dessert Diana dug into her secret store of chocolates in the fridge,

as the advertising saying used to say, 'all because the lady loves milk tray',

 and Diana did,

 which to chose?

I can not say a word, to busy enjoying the chocolate!

in the afternoon we watched Nazi Titanic, a documentary about the making of Gobble's Titanic we had watched last week, it is at the bottom of this post, in it the narrator explains the huge undertaking making the film in a war torn Germany was, the film was budgeted with 4 million Deutschmarks, at today's rate quite a bit over £100 million pounds, a staggering amount to produce a film back in 1940 when shooting began, the film was in the can in 1942, but although shown in German occupied territories it was never shown in Germany itself, towards the end of filming when Germany was suffering huge food shortages and defeats it was thought the films propaganda message would be lost on the audience in scenes of people fighting for their lives for places on the few lifeboats in the water, as an aside in 1958 British filmmakers surreptitiously incorporated four clips from the movie into their own Titanic drama, 'A Night to Remember,' the clips were way too expensive for British studies at the time to even think of producing and it was a shrewd guess that British audiences would never of heard of Gobbles Titanic never mind seen it, the footage was not credited, but a totally fascinating documentary, that could with the plot, death by murder or suicide of the director be made into a film in it's own right,

after our evening meal we watched one more episode of Foyle's War, it really is looking like this is going to be a good series,

to round of the evening two more from Red Dwarf, for tonight Demons & Angels followed by Back to Reality and with the end of that we were off to bed.
