After Changing The Kittens Litter,

feeding them,

writing the blog, answering emails and doing my normal morning exercises we, that is Mariana and myself, were on our way, arriving at the veterinary surgery to have her dressing changed, there were quiet a few cars outside,

but luckily for us only one person waiting before us, the good news is that the wound is clean and appears to be healing well, so back again on Friday, then home for breakfast/lunch, in the afternoon Alex called round, we had not seen him for a month or so,

after saying our farewells it was glad rags on,

and we were off to Hotel Momento Beach, it is situated off of Thepprasit Road in Soi 8, the same Soi as the Punch and Judy and The Caddyshack,

we made our way to the poolside dinning area,

where we had a table for two by the pool,

new for this visit, the Hulk, so like all of the kids here I just had to have a pose,

we were given a complimentary stater,

 and nice it was too,

 a bottle of bubble,

 expertly poured,

then 'Cheers!', from both of us,

we had both decided what starters to order before we had arrived,

but Diana changed her mind and decided on spaghetti marine,

 with cheese,

 lots of cheese,

for myself the small cold cuts,

one time here I ordered the large plate, it was enormous,

on to our main courses, chicken kebab for Diana,

with French fries and bread rolls,

 it looked,

 and was delicious,

  then my main course arrived,

 a prawn kebab,

  with onions and tomatoes,

and as an accompaniment under the kebab a portion of saute potatoes,

the prawns were huge and done to perfection, so many times prawns are slightly over cooked, making the shell difficult to remove from the meat, not these, they were perfect,

what a lovely romantic evening by the pool, what could be better?

two complimentary after dinner drinks spring to mind! we were so full we did not feel like a dessert, which was a shame as we were so looking forward to a baked Alaska that we had on our last visit, but we just could not eat another thing,

'Cheers!', just a small thing at the moment it is high season, whilst tables for two around the pool were available, tables for groups of 4 or more were in short supply, so booking ahead would be a good move, we arrived home and after watching a few programs on cable television we were off to bed.
