Some Bad News,

for the past 2 days Diana has been unwell,

Diana has had a high fever, shivering, headache and stayed in bed all of Wednesday and Thursday, we have done the obvious and had a covid test which thankfully was negative, as of this morning, Friday, she is still unwell with a high fever, I am sure we all wish her the best for a speedy recovery, I am not making any other posts today as I am not my usual self seeing Diana so poorly, hopefully over the course of today she will improve, best regards to everyone, Stan and Diana.

Alley and I are very sorry about Diana’s condition. We have been concerned about the number of hours she works and worried this has caused a compromised immune system. Between the commute and working must be close to 70 hours per week. Alley thought maybe there was labor law preventing such heavy hours but she must slow down and build back her immune. Working with the public exposes her to flu and many virus profiles so it is a must that she is rested, hydrated and strong to defend again catching these illnesses. She needs to take two weeks off and just stay home and rest. No job or money is worth compromising your health short and long term. We know about the Covid-19, but we do not know what is coming next in the Chinese pipeline. Best course of action is to be ready with a strong immune system and rested body. We say hats off to Diana for work ethic. But quality of life for both of you and good health are a strong priority far greater than earning an extra pound. Moderation must be maintained for her balance of life between working and personal life. We don’t see the motive for such heavy hours each week with little time spent to enjoy life. We hope she gets well soon and able to rest for a couple of weeks and build back her immune system. Sorry, you know they always kill the messenger but we care about you two so willing to take the risk of needed discussion.
Best Regards John and Alley

Dear John and Alley, many thanks for your kind thoughts and wishes, I am sure Diana will be taking things a bit easier, Diana does not have to work long hours, but she is in the mind frame of "if I am already here why not stay a little longer?" it is her choice, but that work ethic may well change in the future, as of this morning she is a little better, but still has pains in her muscles and joints plus a blinding heard ache, also yesterday and this morning Diana can not taste the lemon drink she has, also this morning her favourite drink, Ribena, she found tasted awful, Diana describe the symptoms to her doctor yesterday and although the first covid test was negative, the doctor has sent a more accurate kit which will be arriving in the next few hours (Saturday morning), as soon as Diana is tested I will send the test back in one of the Royal Mails priority covid designated post boxes, there are 3 near us within 1 mile or less, once again many thanks for your best wishes for Diana, best regards, Stan and Diana.
