We Had A Lazy Sunday,

it was a bit drizzly outside so we did not go for a walk,

time for a sherry and a read,

before our tempura prawn starter,

'Cheers!',

as it is getting nearer to Christmas, well it is only 68 days away, we thought we would have turkey breasts rolled in bacon, with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

eyes down and tuck in,

for dessert a rum baba,

delicious,

we took long breaks between courses, so it was quite late before we started watching Casablanca, although in black & white we both enjoyed the movie, Rick Blaine, exiled American and former freedom fighter, runs the most popular nightspot in town, the town is where people from war torn Europe hope to find passage to ultimately America, sometimes Rick can help them, what a classic movie,

we followed that with, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, I have to say we both enjoyed the film, not as extreme as other vampire movies, it also had its moments of comedy,

we rounded off the evening with The 5th Wave, which as its name suggests was the 5th wave of deadly attacks on the inhabitants of earth, quite well done as far as the special effects go, but the storyline let it down in a few places, but in the end a good effort, with the end of that we were off to bed.
